Just got my new TC40D and noticed that the hazard lights are on all of the time when the key is in the acc/run position. Are these supposed to be on all of the time?

Randy,
On my TC35D the hazard lights are operated by the switch on the dash. They will work whether the key is on or not. BUT, they will only work if I want them to work.
I guess it's possible that the 40 series are wired differant, but it doesn't sound right to me.

Unless this is a recent change in design, it should not be that way. Like Mark said, on my TC45D the lights work with the switch on the dash. I've shut off my tractor and walked away, only to look back and see the flashers going. They work with the ignition On or Off.
