Linamar took over the old Onan designs some time ago. Continental Engines - Linamar sales and parts

Not sure what availability of parts in the USA (Linamar is Canadian) is, and the flat head engines aren't sold here (EPA) anymore.

Worth a try, though.

Thank you for the info. I also have an LT 2180 and it looks like a lot of the parts will fit so I will probably set it back for spares.

Onan/Linamar produced their last small gasoline engines in early 2004. Parts are still readily avaliable from many internet sources, but be sure to stock up as they will become scarce quickly for those running Onan gas engines. Any new engine one might see today with an Onan or Linamar name on it is made by Kubota, and Kubota is not producing or stocking parts for any of the old Onan/Linamar engine models.
