I seen that add wks. ago I believe. When I was looking to repair/replace my rear tires. Not far from me at all but a lot of things I can't mess with anymore. Yrs. ago the trailer and a set of hand trucks would most likely would have been there already. Not in CL. Athens or Atl. which is what I seen it in if I recall.
Hi Careyo63, same here about needing rear tires, last year I punctured one of the rear on my tractor, instead of fixing that tire, 3 weeks ago I decide to do the conversion to the truck wheels /tires finally located a pair of 37x12.50 x17 tires
before buying them I had to find some 6 lug chevy truck wheels, wound up having to buy the set of 4 just to get the 2 I needed, the 37" truck tires dropped the tractor about 2" from the 9.5 x24 I had on it, which were 38" tall, although the 37 truck tires after being 2/3rd worn measure 36" tall so it put it back at the original height from the first set of tires that came with the tractor (8.3 x24 which were around 36" tall ) I'm satisfied with how the tractor tracks and handles, I only wish had done this long ago, I hav'nt tried pulling the plows with it yet to find out how much traction I've lost, I think I can correct if any loss by adding liquid to the tires, although the truck tires weigh about two times of what the AG tires weigh, this alone should help with traction, I have pix but havn't move them to my PC.

I came through your area on the way to Madison to get that frontend, I should have purchased it all, never know when I might need the rear end components, I bet that stuff is expensive,

Good to hear from you DND. it's has been awhile. I decided to reline the Org. Bridgestone. The reline has seem to be working real well so far. One piece insert with new tubes and it was really easy to get taken care of. Gempler had them to me really quick. So far the only thing that has showed is IMO. these tires sat for a long while flat with weight on them. Both have 3 exact treads cracks from sitting were I had the tube problems. Glad I went that way in getting it taken care of. With the Lugs being so big. No loss of traction for me. Found that out and may have even improved some now that I can Raise my Air pressure. Yeah our options are limited come to find out............

One possible source for like-new tires is dealer takeoffs. I've bought 4x4 tires this way once, (actually, negotiated to get a set along with a used Wagoneer from a dealer) and I suspect that was the origin for the new-looking oversize tires and Kubota rims that came with my YM240. Dealers just want to get rid of stuff they know won't sell readily.

For these 2wd Yanmars I don't think tire dimensions make much difference so long as you don't need extreme traction for mud or heavy pulling. But maximizing width is worth considering, for stability.

DeepNdirt did you say 6 lug chevy truck wheels have the same bolt pattern as our Yanmars? That's a valuable addition to the body of knowledge here!

Yes chevy truck 6 lugs will work but have to get the ones with the larger center hole found on the 4x4's, the factory steal wheels is what I used which were a bit difficult to find in 17" to fit the tires, plenty of 15",16" out there,
6 lug Toyota will work on our Yanmar's as well,
I did flip the wheels to give an added 4 inch more width a total of 52" from 48" originally,
Here are some photo's of the conversion, I also installed the frontend today. sure looks much better with the tires standing upright instead of leaning

The chevy/Toy fitment thing is a piece of info most off road guys know. Helps when looking for wheels and tire combos or just rims.

Yeah Chevy/Toyota. Another family is Ford/Dodge/Jeep. (Or at least it was last time I looked for Jeep wheels).

But I didn't know Chev/Toyota 4x4 fits Yanmar rear too!

Is there anything that fits YM2000 2wd front, 4 lugs? I finally had to buy real Yanmar 15 inch wheels at my favorite 'reconditioned' importer, $50 per pair along with that $200 rototiller, because I wasn't aware of anything that could substitute.

I wasn't aware that ford had a 6 lug wheel until started looking for the chevy ones and run across several fords, must been later year models,
In the earlier years ford f-100 & 150 had the
5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern.
The 250's were 8 lug. Ik remember sometime in the late 90's might been
'98 the f-250 had a 7 lug pattern and had The body style of the f-150 .
The early jeeps also had the large 5 on 5 1/2 just as ford trucks did. Internation trucks and scouts ll had the 5 .5 1/2
