"Headsup" for tractors been under water

This thread is about as good as they get for me insofar as a "heads up". I just sold my Volvo BL70 and am looking for a small acreage tractor. I really appreciate all the great advice...

Stay dry folks.........( )......

the best places to look for water damage us under the running boards the tops can look find under the dash and under the radiator that is the first places i look and if u see major rust there u know u got problems

i have a buddy in the salvage car buisness and we bought some cars that was in neworleans during katrina and even the ones that didn't go under water we go a non repairable title which meant it could never be put on the road and we could sell the motors but could sell parts off of them i dont know how they would ever know you sold the motor but there was a fine if u got caught doing it

Sad part of it is, for bad buys to get caught, someone has to complain. Then the investigating agency has to have the available staff to follow up on the complaint, and then there has to be enough evidence to pursue a charge, and so on and so on. In the end, rarely does the bad guy really pay for taking advantage of your trust. Bottom line, the buyer should ALWAYS beware.

We've all been caught I'm sure, hooked on a deal that we thought we couldn't walk away from. But think back to the deal and that little voice in your head that said "don't do it"... yet you still did. Been there.

Mantra is: Buyer Beware !!!!!!!!!!!!!
