Heard a horrible sound.

boy bob that is a pretty tractor I wish I could get a 2nd one mine is green & a little smaller but by the same company: very nice runner from MY standpoint /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif must have been somethign done wrong if it was making so much noise as mine is a nice 3 cyl diesle sounding enigne even when she was running a bit warm as I forgot to check her out yesterday when I fired her up form 3 months of setting the rad was a bit low and rototilled in high range the garden turned up nicely I might add.

BOB ; i thought the same thing about the FARM STORE, must be a way off name brand, anything making that kind of noise would not be around long enough to be a name brand /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If it was a Jinma 304 it has the TY395 engine and i've heard nothing but good and have even put over 300 hard hours on one. The Chinese use this engine in lots of tractors and even their dozers. You can get bad in anything. Does anybody actually think that if these engines all sounded this bad that the Chinese would'nt fix the problem? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif If I'm not mistaken they produce most all the parts for that pc your typing on. They are not stupid people. They fill the void with their tractors for the guy that wants a newer economical tractor. I'm sure they could build a much better tractor then the smaller countries that build the more popular tractors if they really wanted to.

SPIKER and frank_f15, it was just my guess that Mike was referring to the Jinma only because I have never seen any diesel powered Husqvarnas populating the lots of the farm stores. I have seen Jinmas. And there are obviously orange ones.

I guess we'll all have to wait for Mike to tell us . . . or keep the mystery to himself.

Those old Porsche single cylinder tractors. Once you hear one, you don't soon forget the sound.

I said I saw one. In fact it was parked on US41 outside of Cedar Lake, IN for the better part of last summer until someone finally bought it. And I never said they were in their right mind when they painted it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif And the really sad thing is, it certainly appeared to have been a factory paint job. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
