I have an NH TC-30 w/box blade. I've set up a mickey mouse version of DraftHorse's level (thank you DraftHorse - http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...renching-maintaining-slope-2.html#post1768815) on it (mickey mouse because I don't weld - among many other things).

It works adequately for me, but I have difficulty hearing the laser detector on the box blade. With my far less than perfect hearing and a diesel engine in front of me, I have to turn at least half-way or more around to hear the beeps. Between not watching where I'm going and playing with the 3ph, I tend to wander the tractor around.

Does anyone know of any wired/wireless speaker & mic systems that I can mount the speaker in front of me and the mic affixed to or near the detector?

Not sure if this will be of help but I have a couple of these and they work well for my applications...

I am not familiar with the "beeper" on your device but if it can be disconnected and replaced with a 1/8 modular (typical earphone) plug...it should work...

Certainly an option, but my problem is that whenever I open an electronic case, things just don't seem to fit back into it again. :ashamed:

How about getting a pair of walkie talkies (kind with earphone/headphone jack) and the accessory headphone/mic. Rad Shack has both of these for $20 each. I have used a system like this to make communicating with my helper/spotter (wife) easier with the tractor running.

Motorola Talkabout® FV300 2-Way Radios (Pair) - RadioShack.com

headphone/mic
Headset for FRS 2-Way Radios with PTT and VOX Capability : Radio & scanner accessories | RadioShack.com

When using the laser system setup one radio to talk and you just listen on the other end.

I just went with /Pine's suggestion, though with a microphone at the laser receiver and a mic extension cord.

I do have some personal 2-Way radios that we've been known to use on our small (5 ac) property, but they kind of seem like overkill to get sound five feet closer to me. :)

Thank you for the suggestion, though.
