Hearing Impaired sign for tractor

My wife is a tutor for American Sign Language. No were in any dictionary is there a sign for tractor. Any one out there know of the correct sign. Car is a steering wheel motion for an example.
You would think living in Vermont it would be easy to fing the sign but it's not. Told the wife I was going to the top!!!
Please help!!!!!!

Alan -- That's a part of your life I never knew! Way cool for your wife!

Can't help you with the sign, but when I did my undergrad in DC I met several hearing impaired friends attending Gallaudet U. (They actually preferred to be called "deaf," as they felt in no way "impaired.") Anyway, I flipped your question to them, and with any luck they know how to sign it. If not, heck, they'll probably invent one!

I've had a severe hearing impairment for most of my life but never wanted to learn sign language to any degree, however, I still remember how to sign most of the swear words....

Although I have several books on ASL none of them have any reference to a sign for tractor....I will ask some of my friends who teach sign language and see if they know of one.

Thanks for the help guys. Your right Pete and I apoligize for the hearing impaired statement. Should of known that and got the look this morning when I explained the replies. Good thing I don't get that very ofton.
