has anyone noticed heat from the engine blowing back on the driver? a JD owner was assisting a Kubota owner in putting up hay last year, he used the M5400 to do the baling, but complained about the heat that was blowing back on him while operating the tractor!!

On what kind of tractor? My IH2500b is a heat throwing monster. My PT425 has the engine in the rear and the hydraulic cooler is right behind my shoulders. I have only felt heat when backing up in no wind.

I have an L4610 with an enclosed Curtis Hard Cab. Even in temps in the 0 to 10 degrees range I have yet to turn the heater on other than when I was cruising down the road at 15mph. I also usually only plow in a sweatshirt and jeans, with a baseball hat and no gloves. Plenty of heat from the engine, but I can't say it's exactly "blowing" on me.
