Heavy Duty 4x6 Utility Trailer

We need a small utility trailer that we can easily store on a project site in New Jersey. A 4x6 trailer would be perfect, but we need it to have a GVW of 3000 lbs along with solid sides.

I saw two

both of these are perfect, except they don't have dealers with 3000 miles of me.

Anyone know of a 3000 lb 4x6 trailer I can get on the east coast?

I think you should look up dump trailers if you want decent weight rating and solid sides. Where specifically on the East Coast? It's kind of a large area.

Hello - I had a trailer made for me at Roadway Trailers in Standish, Maine (207-838-2262). Was 4 x 8-- 3500# axle (2990 gvw)-- 15" tires-- 5/4 PT floor and sides (18" high - but he can make any height)--A frame tongue--including all lights. This was back in 2017 and I'm pretty sure I paid appx. $1400.00. I did everything by phone - mailed them a deposit check- then took a ride to pick it up when it was finished. I was very pleased with the quality and the whole process.View attachment 587493

You might have an easier time finding that in a 5x8 rather than a 4x6, PJ Trailers makes a 5x8 that would work, the landscape version is the U6: PJ Trailers | 6" Single Axle Channel Utility (U6)

I have Big Tex 5x10 2999# utility trailer with 18" sides that I got from a Zoresco dealer. Pretty well built unit. Dunno if there are any dealers in your area. They had numerous variations of mine in stock at the time.

I have a 20 watt solar panel & solar charge controller on my power tilt deckover. It works well for me. Not sure if it would keep up with a lot of frequent tilts, but it keeps up with a handful every few days.
