You're probably right. I called another local dealer to see what his price on the PHD was and it was about $200 more than I paid. That being said, I don't think I need one that is this heavy duty and the same can probably be said for the scraper. It is definitely more heavy-duty than the one on TSC, but do I really need that?

Well, I guess it is a shame that weall can't get the deals that some other's can.

Maybe you don't need that particular digger. Maybe you can do better buying from somewhere else.

I like the heavy scraper but maybe you can get a better deal elsewhere.

What I DON'T understand is the previous reference to TSC ! Unless my internet connection is all goofy, there is no TSC in Washington ! AND, they don't do internet sales nor mailorder sales (in their FAQ) ! So, then you have some of the other outfits that do do internet sales ... wonder what the shipping charge would be. ... there's always the possibility that you did the best you could in your area and circumstances. Dunno. Stuff ain't real cheap around here either.
