Nuffer460 is the black knob the one I have arrowed in the picture? I have tried turning this left and right, still no joy?
I have attached a few more pics of the controls, the supplier is supposed to be sending me a manual!

So, your problem is on the tractor? I assume moving the flow control did not get the feed rollers turning?

Nope, I have tried all levers, in all positions I think Nuffer460 may be on the right track, i may have to isolate hydraulics to the 3PLH for the chipper to work. I am in communication with supplier at present, he says the manual is too big to post so will send it via MSN, why he can't send via normal email I have no idea ???

Jinmadownunder, Your rear remotes are hooked up differently than mine. My rear remote is hooked up to the flow control valve. Yours looks like it's coming from the front Flow diveder or a power beyond port. The first picture you posted. is the knob I have to use for my tractor. The plug on the right side of the flow control valve is where my rear remote is hooked up. I will post a picture.

Jinmadownunder, Here are some pictures of the single rear remote. It is hooked up right at the flow control Valve. Hope this helps some.

It seems odd that your safety bar isn't attached to the valve plunger. the attachment angle is hanging loose on the valve plunger, (which is rotated 90 degrees) but there doesn't appear to be a bracket on the safety bar visible for it to attach to. Have you tried pulling the plunger aft as far as it will go? Yours looks like it is in the reverse position (for backing out jams).

Here's what mine looks like. The plunger is in the feed position and the flow control is below it.

The flow control has a 90 degree range of motion, but in actual fact it is very sensitive and goes from no movement to full speed of the feed rollers in the space of about a quarter-inch.

You hit the nail right on the head :thumbsup: i finally received the operators manual from the supplier and realised my glaring error :laughing: needless to say the valve plunger is now attached to the safety bar, I still haven't tried it yet but no doubt it will work fine, doh :confused2:

Hopefully you'll be good to go now. They are awesome chippers and, I believe, safer to use than non-hydraulic feed. The slow moving feed drums minimize the violent whipping around of the branches as they are fed into the chute. :thumbsup:

Well I fired up the chipper last night, feed rollers worked fine, I played with the flow controller and found that they stopped at about 2 and also after increasing speed stopped at around 8-9? I was expecting them to stay at max speed?? Anyway first branch (about 2") flew through, so I reduced the flow from 4 till they were just turning over, fed a 4" limb through and once it hit the flywheel it flew through, jammed the chipper and stalled the tractor?? So I cleared the jam, started all over again and it jammed again?? It seems to be no matter what speed the Feed Rollers are, once it hits the blades it flies through and jams. Needless to say it is still jammed as I lost the light trying to clear it Suppose it's just a case of playing around to get the right settings, but it's going to be a long job if I have clear it after each branch?? Happy for all your input guys at least I had it working for a little while
