On my CAT 1 implements the top pin is 3/4" Dia. and the lower draft arm pins are 7/8" Dia. bjr

The ASABE spec for a draw bar is 15" from the ground for Cat1 and Cat2. Cat3 and Cat4 jump to 19". 13" is pretty close to that, so I'm wondering if the lower link spec for a 3PH is the same as the draw bar spec..? I wish I knew somebody with the S217 spec.

Dropping your pin heights is not that bad if you have weldor, metal & all the toys that come with it. Just keep the same specs of cat 1 but lower to the ground and you will be fine.

My pins are captured pins instead of the actual pin style, I find it easier to hook up and they are stronger and no nut to come loose.

Thanks for the spec greg. Looks like the ISO 730-1 spec has been chosen to replace the S217 spec, good to know for reference.

The spec talks about the heights at the extremes of the min/max lift instead of from a parallel to the ground. So I measured the height of my pins at the highest point which is ~23.5 inches. The spec says the min traveling height for a conforming Cat1 is 820mm which includes 100mm of lift arm adjustment. Knocking off the lift arm adjustment 720mm is ~28.5 inches, which means my shim would have to raise the attachment points about 5 inches..

On the flip side, the max lowest height required by the spec is 200mm which includes 100mm of adjustment in the down direction. This means the highest the pins can be while in their lowest position is 300mm or ~12inches. I haven't measured it yet, but I'm sure that even with 5 inches of lift I won't be over 12 inches.
