need advice, my dynamark rider went on fire and torched to whole front end off. everything in front of the steering column is toast. my question is , will the motor be fine.
thanks

depends on how hot the fire was. if very hot the block is probably warped. the block will melt at approximately 1100 degrees

Turning the crank will let you know if things are straight at the bottom end, but that won't tell you too much.
Frankly, I suggest you talk to your homeowner's insurance agent to see if the mower is covered. It's probably not worth repairing.

How did it catch fire? Did you refuel it when the engine was still hot?

I agree with Roy. Not much there to salvage. A lot of aluminum in engines today and even if just the carb is toast that in about $150 to replace. I would let the insurance company deal with it.
