Thanks Varmint. I just thought some estimates would come in. That is time consuming your right. I paid $11,300. I did my home work and out of fifty or so ratings only 2-3 were 2's or 3's. al others were 4.5 to 5. And the life of the tractor comments sold me. Got all the attachments we needed in one fell swoop. Could I have shopped and dug more? Yes but there's no guarantees!
There's two small issues.
1. There is a small 1/4" gouge of the hydraulic line cover only that goes from from the joy stick valve to
the first junction.
2. The left front tie rod ball joint has the boot torn. There is absolutely no corrosion but I know that has
to be remedied. From what I've been told I have to replace the whole rod the first time and then ton the replacement rod the ball can be removed and refit with the boot. But the tie rod end is not removable from the OEM rod.
Any thoughts?

Welcome to TBN and life as a BX owner, I'd just be guessing on the price, I have a 2003 BX2200 with FEL and 60" MMM I wouldn't even consider selling and I've even got another BX a 2008 BX2660.

I have fluid in my rear tires, stabilizers by Hodge, grill guard with trailer hitch, Bro-Tek HST fan guard and wheel spacers, very handy. We don't get much snow down here, so I don't know about chains.

Maintenance is very easy on these machines.

I looked at the maintenance schedule and it actually looks ok. 29 categories. Not bad.

For autos, there are aftermarket tie-rod boots that are replaceable without taking the joint apart- sort of like replaceable CV boots... maybe you can find one? Or, just go for whatever your Kubota parts guys suggest. If you don't think your local guys are being helpful, call Messick's in PA- their parts guys usually are very helpful, and shipping up to Buffalo is a piece of cake. Shipping = sales tax?? Messicks is a sponsor here on TbN, and I have been happy with my dealings with them, including buying a nice used L3130 from them a couple of years ago.

Yes Varmint just went on the Messick's site today. I'll certainly be ordering some stuff from them. I have to price a filter kit, chains, boot etc.

There's a currently running thread on replacing tie-rod end boots here on TbN. As for chains, they are easy to modify (shorten, anyway) if you can't find just what you need. I have even removed cross chain links from 20 cross chains, shortened outer chains, etc. to get a good fit on tires that weren't exactly what the chains were intended for. All the links are malleable, except the actual cross links. Although Laclede must have chains made for any tire out there... I had run into some chain deals that too good to pass.
