Befco finish mowers are supplied by Rotomec; it is a top shelf mower. First choice, at least the last one I saw, was made by Sicma; it is a decent mower, near the lowest end of the top shelf. Either one should give many years of good service. We prefer Sitrex, which I think is comparable to the Befco/Rotomec.
There are many little things that make them better, but the number one reason to me is that we get no callbacks on Sitrex. We have carried other brands (none mentioned in my post) and have had problems. The Sitrex gives a great cut and has been trouble free in four years for us....literally....we have not had one warranty issue so far, nor have we heard of any out of warranty problems from our customers.
