Hi!
I've read so many threads on this forum but figured I should sign up
I'm in the piedmont area of North Carolina and farm about 50 acres here on some land we recently cleaned up and built on. I think I've crossed paths with some of you on the heavy equipment forums.
Anyway, I got my barn built and now after all the clearing and barn/house building, its time to put some of the family oldies and moldys back together. I have a deere 5103 that's my main utility tractor these days that I use for dirt prep and general farm stuff, and a ford 4500 loader backhoe for clearing and rock digging. We have some old cat iron too, but that's a different forum
I'm planning on putting the family 8n back together for my father in law, and if I do that I get to keep an old massy 35 that would be great for me to get up hay. So... I got some resto's in my near future
I figured I'd say hey in this forum. Outside of tractors and farming, I'm into machine shop stuff, metal fab, and welding. Looking forward to talking with you all and hoping I've got some ways to contribute!
