Hello from Texas

Good afternoon yall
Wanted to say hello after joining. After several years of looking to buy a tractor, I finally purchased a new LS MT242 and wanted a place for guidance when I ask dumb questions.

I live on 5.5a sandy, rolling, half wooded acres. I do a lot of land maintenance, light dirt work and tree work and the tractor was bought to help me do all that.

For the tractor I have a 6' Armstrong box blade as my first implement. I've got 150yds of driveway that needs maintenance. I'm planning on getting a FEL post hole auger soon and eventually a set of pallet forks and grapple. I'm currently in the middle of building a new perimeter fence on the property and the tractor will do some work there too.

Welcome aboard. Lots of info on here from a whole lotta years a learning. I have found it helpful to search on my tractor type forum and peruse through the posts to learn little tidbits of info.

I have a 3pt auger, I used to build our pick ur own farm. Wish I had a known about the FEL type about 13 yrs ago. Now I rarely use it but still not enough to sell it.

Welcome! Same story; bought a tractor and came here to ask dumb questions, although I find the answers a lot of times before I even knew I had that particular question.
