Have owned a Yanmar 226D purcased new from Machinery Components in Seattle, a John Deere 770, and a gray market Yanmar FX28, all great machines, I'm sold on Yanmar equipment. Great quality, great prices. Had a Yanmar powered generator also. I have been collecting vintage engine welders recently, have two Lincoln Lincwelders with Onans, one Lincoln Weldanpower with a B&S and a Hobart Bros. DC only welder with a Wisconsin THD 2 cylinder engine. My most recent saves are a Big Boy 80 sander, conversion of an air compressor from electric motor to 8 HP Tecumseh and converting a Coleman PowerMate 5KW generator to electric start.
I have worked as a mechanic, millwright, machinist most of my life, now retired. I hate to see anything go to a junk yard, and I like building tools that I need. Glad to be here. Shack

To TBN Shack. Where was all the snow this year? The last year I lived in Eagle River, it snowed almost every day for two months and I almost wore my snow thrower out.

Welcome, I to am new here, but have found lots of info and nice people. I spent 3 months the summer of 2008 in Sterling and loved it there. But when the locals talked about 20 below in the winter I found myself back in FL
