Hi, I've been lurking for quite a while now reading and also finding great ideas from everyone. I've always been one to make my own when I need something. This is one great site, lots of knowledge here I hope to tap into as I run into problems in things I try to make or do. I'll sort out my projects I've done over the years and try to get pictures up to share. Some include a new porch on front of our house (laying brick for first time for columns), new room addition on rear of house, hinged tower base with removable raising structure around it to winch it up with for a 60' free standing tower, JIB crane in my shop and also the 32' x 48' shop I built. Am working on a pond at the moment which I'm squeezing in between my RL work. I got a lot of ideas for the hydraulic thumb I just made for my excavator from here and will post pictures of that also and also mistakes I made during it's design. I have a small excavating business so that helps in the equipment department for doing things around the house.
