Hello from Falcon, Colorado

Greetings folks...

My name is Bob Burgoyne (a.k.a. Burgie) and I am from Falcon, Colorado...which is about 15 miles due East of Colorado Springs. I am new to this forum but not new to tractors. My dad had 60's vintage Ford 4000 gas and 4500 diesel tractors, both with loaders and Wein-Roy backhoes. That was years ago and when I was living back in central massachusetts close to home.

I am now in the market for a new compact tractor. A close friend has a new Kubota B2320 with a FEL and HST and I have been using that and love it. It appears to be a great machine and after just turning 50 hours still have not noticed anything bad about it. Nevertheless, knowledge is power and I love learning and want to get to know people here and see what everyone is saying about their particular brand of machine.

Native Coloradan myself and extremely happy owner of a Kubota B series.

Only comments I would say is find out what dealers you have close by and start from there. I would think there would be a Kubota dealer in the Springs, along with others. Doesn't seem like there are any bad tractors really. Find what is convenient, affordable and what you are the most comfortable in.

In the compact Kubotas, I would at bump upto the B2620 at least from the B2320 as the FEL is stronger and gets a few other goodies for a minimal increase in cost.

What do you plan to do doing with the tractor?
