Hello from Kent in the UK

Hello everyone!
I am based in Kent in the UK, about 40 miles south of London.
I have a small holding and a much cherished Ford 6600 which I have owned for over 35 years. The tractor has been wonderful despite the fact that I have not perhaps looked after it as diligently as I should.
The only major work it has had over the years is a new front wheel and bearing, otherwise it starts EVERY TIME, and runs perfectly - up until now - hence my interest in getting help and that is how I found this forum. The internet is a wonderful place!
The power steering is starting to fail and I am hoping that the collective wisdom on here can help me. I am not a mechanic, but with help I can do most things, but I am inexperienced and out of my depth with this problem.
I am sure some kind soul out there will have a much better understanding of the problem When I post the details, but as this is my first post, I just wanted to introduce myself first.

Might I suggest that you add your general location (My Profile, About me, Location) to assist, at a glance, where in the world you are. Many of the helpful people on TBN are from the USA and any assistance that they can provide would be expedited by knowing that 'parts' would need to be procured 'overseas'.
