Hello from Northern Michigan

Hello All,
Ive monitored this forum for some time and finally decided to join.
Im In Northern Michigan about 35 miles SE of Traverse city.
Im not sure where to post this so i might as well start here,Untill I find my way around here.
Im in desperate need of a set of tire chains for a DB 990. Tire sixe 16.9 x 30
As christmas is so close and im basically broke im looking for a used set of chains to get me moving around in the snow.
My tires are worn so there isnt much traction.
I picked up the tractor a few months back and was told it was a drive and go machine.Well ive since learned it wasnt.I had to replace a front spindle and will have to have the front bucket rams rebuilt as they wont keep pressure.
Well things cost me more so far than I planned on this.
If anyone has a used set of chains that wont cost me an arm,leg or kids please let me know id really appreciate it.

Thanks all.She needs a bit more work but she is well on her way to being another work horse.
I still need to straighten out some wireing they made a mess of to get the temp gauge and oil pressure gauge functioning and I need to repack the bucket ram cylinders this winter or spring so the front bucket will quit sagging.Then from there just minor touchups and adjustments.
Then the expensive task of draining the hydro fluids and filter and buying the 5 plus gallons of hydro fluid and all the fluids will be done.

Hello from southern central Michigan. I had an uncle near Copemish that owned a tractor nearly identical to yours back in the 70's and 80's. He used it daily on his dairy farm.

Do you have any ballast in the rear tires?
