Hi All

By way of introduction, my name is Danny Tubb and live in Tasmania. I own a small farm in the central district and are developing an organic egg farm, supplemented by a small herd of beef cattle.

I am looking into options to replace my existing tractor with an Agrison R45 or similar, and feeling a little anxious as there do not seem to be a lot of 'non dealer' feedback available. If anyone can provide some guideance it would be appreciated. Looking forward to meeting anyone with similar business ventures?

Kind regards

Danny

G'day Danny, sounds like a fun business those organic eggs. Organic agriculture is starting to really take off here the north. I'm thinking more and more on it myself, now I've got to put the shovel to the earth and make things happen as well. Easier said than done, that I'm sure of.
Well as we say(maybe not so much in the egg business) you better get crackin'.

Hi

Welcome, I'm from Central West, NSW. Tassie is a great place, I used to do a bit of vertical caving down there.

Best wises

Hi Danny
Welcome to the forum. My husband and I purchased a 30hp Agricat/Agrison late last year and you are right there is not a lot of feedback.
A few of us have been trying to get our issues and problems out in the public eye but we keep getting shutdown by the dealer.
As you are in Tassie you would be at a disadvantage if you purchased one of these - better to stick to a tractor that your local people support and service. The dealer does not have service people anywhere else but Melbourne ( not sure if they have it there either) - so if you are anywhere else in Oz you are on your own.
For us I could have purchased a Kubota for another $ 2,500.00 - see if you can get a second hand Kubota - they go forever.
PM me if you would like to know more.

Hi Danny
Welcome to tractorbynet.
I agree with Bridget been there done that and from what owners tell me they now have a parts only warranty you may want to check if this is correct.
Come over and visit in the Chinese tractor section. Good people in general with lots of knowledge. If you want recommendations on which is a good Chinese tractor just ask.
