Hi Danny, Whats the Agrison R45? I own the Agrison 50HP Ultra and its great - cabin with air con.
Bridgit states there is no service available - I find that hard to beleive. Mate the good thing about these tractors are you are free to appoint a diesel mechanic of your choice and ensure he is stamping you book along the way - its good because your not forced to get it serviced by people you dont know who may potentially rip you off. So being in TAS doesnt disadvntage you at all- im from NSW and im definately not disadvantaged.
Agrison tractors are true value for money and I would suggest you visit them down in Campbellfield first, this willl help you reach your decision alot quicker than you could imagine.
If you want to talk to previous owners, Id just give them a call and ask for previous owners - they are very attentive and professional in that manner.
If you want more info PM me, as a product owner myself I am sure I can help answer some of your questions.

Charles.

Hi All

By way of introduction, my name is Danny Tubb and live in Tasmania. I own a small farm in the central district and are developing an organic egg farm, supplemented by a small herd of beef cattle.

I am looking into options to replace my existing tractor with an Agrison R45 or similar, and feeling a little anxious as there do not seem to be a lot of 'non dealer' feedback available. If anyone can provide some guideance it would be appreciated. Looking forward to meeting anyone with similar business ventures?

Kind regards

Danny

Hi Charles

Many thanks for the positive response, you have raised very valid points in terms of the maintenance requirements etc. I have also got to say the response from the dealership to all my questions has been excellent.

I will be driving from NSW to Melbourne next month and have an appointment to visit the dealership to see the 50 HP range.

Will keep in touch after the visit to Agrison

Thanks again

Danny

G'Day Sixdogs

Glad you like the pictures.

I had arranged to have a contractor cut and bale hay off around 60 acres in February, he was using a New Holland (don't remember the model), did a great job and a good price.

The nearest town (Mole Creek) is around 14 kms away on a sealed road with only one neighbour and the rest of the property backs onto state forest, so given that Tasmania is relatively small this is a good balance, considering remote in our terms could be an eight hour drive.

Have a look at google earth for the area around Cradle Mountain and the Western Tiers, this may provide a better overview of the countryside

Thanks for the contact

Kind regards

Danny

No worries Danny,

When you get there let me know what the 75hp looks like
A friend of a friend just bought it - and he says it looks like a 90-100hp thats how big it is. Apparently photos do no justice.
Have a peak and let me know.
I need a bigger tractor with more horsepower have heaps of work coming up early next year.

Cheers
Charles.

If a manufacturer provides a warranty, he has to make sure the machine is up to a certain standard so that he maintains a profit margin in the event of any claim.
If a manufacturer does NOT provide a warranty, he can cut costs on many areas as he knows it is not going to reflect on his profit margin no matter what happens and therefore every effort is made to reduce build costs.
Worth remembering.

Agreed
Thats how these dealers get away with it...offer long warranties but they are PARTS ONLY from day one. So they could deliver you a trailer full of parts and say there's your tractor. A parts only warranty from day one lets face it means the dealer if they wish has to do no proper predelivery checks, performance checks, oil leak checks etc. Thats why you get stories of tractors being delivered that the truck driver can't get off his truck do to oil leaks, bits falling off, engines not working etc.
