There's not even a fuel shutoff solenoid. Or a thermostat. Or fuel gauge. (semi-transparent fuel tank).Best of all, I bet there isn't a computer in the critter! Yanmar must mean sensible or something in Japanese.
These 70's designed Yanmars are beautifully simple. Just the essentials. And dead simple to maintain. Need the alternator? Autozone, ask for '72 Datsun no a/c. $29. One Thermostart module (manifold pre-heat, equivalent to glow plugs). ~$20.
Elegant design, calculated to be maintainable forever by anyone anywhere in the world if you have a screwdriver and a socket set. Nobody builds like that any more.
