My name is Rick Duffy and I have gained a lot of info from this site in my decision to buy a tractor. I am looking to purchase a BX series subcompact and am pretty sure the BX25 is the one to get. I have been offered a good deal on a BX24 (about 1500 less) with the same set up and am wondering if experienced users have any comments on the merits of the 25 over the 24 and if it is worth the 1500 (or demerits for that matter) any help/comments would be appreciated. Hey Rick. Welcome to the forum. I live in New Rochelle. The major complaint with the BX24 is the abrupt stopping in reverse. I have a BX24 myself and don't find it to be an issue at all. I'd ask the dealer for a test ride on both before you decide.
