Howdy! i'm a new member from Alberta. I currently own a Kubota Grand L 5740 utility tractor. I have ten acres which has to be cleared of snow, trees, grass and brush, as well as a swamp i need to fill in. i have now realized, after 4 years and 2 tractors, that what i really need is a compact track loader, so i'm going to sell my tractor and attachments {rotary cutter and rear hydraulic blade, FEL) and get a ctl.
Presently, I am thinking about a Bobcat or John Deere.
Any thoughts on the best ctl to get? I like the Bobcat because of the higher ground speed. The Deere's have good price and dealer support...

Kubota builds track loaders the biggest is 70-80HP I believe they may give you a decent price on trade in as Spring? is here and the market for good used low hour acreage tractors will be strong, If they give you a decent price on trade or there is always Kijiji.
