Our land is taxed based on its potential use, or else could you see trying to go from residential or recreational back to agricultural? They wouldn't give up the tax revenue.

In my school district we spend $13-14,000 per student, per year. A private school education costs $3-4,000 per student, per year. Somthing is seriously wrong here....

My turn to rant, WELFARE!!!!!! I believe this is where the money is wasted. Don't let the kids starve but if the deadbeat parents don't want to work to provide for them make the parents eat macarroni without any cheese. Why don't we force people to pick up cigarette butts in the park or on main street to receive help. The working man is paying for this crap and it's out of hand!!! Beat up the poor guys trying to scrape by farming (luckily, I'm not one of them) I grew up in a farm community and I would love to be able to farm for a living-I can't make it work and that's a crying shame. Quit paying for keeping criminals in jail, make them earn their keep or put them out of their misery. Let them pay for the children to go to school, think how many of their kids you and I are paying for. Sorry guys, I'm done.
