Hello new here, question about JD 7810 PS

I work for my father on a dairy farm here in sweden, we have springtime work to do, and must use our 7810 to do heavy work now and i wonder about the 4wheel drive, the lamp/indicator för 4wheel drive on dashboard? it dosent light upp att all, i think the switch is bad? beacuse it don react att all when disabling 4wheel drive on button.we have new 710milimetres tireas allround and lot of aspalth roads so a spring wheelin around could turn out to be expensive, for my father! can some one maybe help with this pproblem! sorry for my bad english

Have you checked the fuses to make sure a fuse hasnt gone bad? Easy problem to solve if that is you problem.

Hello! my big brother checked fuses and conclused that all where good! maybe its the switch for 4wheel drive thats bad? gonna meausre it on monday!

Check the bulb, may be burnt out. I am not sure on that model tractor if it fails to 4wd or not. Some do, solenoid is powered to be in 2wd and when solenoid is not powered it goes into 4wd.
