My Name is Ray Lombardi
I moved to Evansville IN last year from Simi Valley CA
I was given a Kubota BX2230 several years ago
The 2001 tractor only had 200 hours on it, it did not have a mower deck.
I bought a 60鋳 mower deck for the tractor (Ouch) $3000 later
I used the tractor all last year mostly to mow a 3 acre yard.
The tractor now has over 300 hours on it.
Two days ago I notice a huge puddle of hydraulic oil under my Kubota.
The mower deck is covered, I fired up the tractor and is seems to be leaking above the drive shaft that operates the mower.
I can not see where the leak is coming from as I cannot get under the tractor.
BTW, I did have the tractor serviced last year when I purchased the mower deck

Ray, Welcome to TBN and hope your leak is a simple fix.

Hi, Ray, and welcome to TBN. Don't run the tractor if low on fluid and good luck with the leak. I'm guessing the most likely culprit will be the front PTO seal but I've not seen the tractor.
