HELP 2538 TRANS SCREEN!!!

I'm changing my trans oil and the screen hits the loader frame....... wth!

Do I need to remove the lower loader support on the right under side to remove the screen?

It's in the way...... grrrrr

Sorry about the rant.... lol.... anyone change their own trans oil and have this issue?

no worries....... all done...... piss poor design if ya ask me. Trans screen won't come out unless you remove the lower loader support. Took a little longer to do the service but all is well!

Poor design seems to run in th Mahindra line. I bought a 4540 and made a big expensive mistake.

I have a 2555 but am wondering where the trans screen is on your machine? did you find it in the service manual? i can't find it in my manual or know even where to look for it so i was just wondering where yours was. thanks

Can you post a picture of where the screen is? I'm wanting to change my universal fluid as well, and want to clean that screen.

it is located underneath on the right side of the transmission, there is a log 1" hydraulic fluid pipe that attaches to it via a rubber 90. I am at work and cant post a picture right now.
