Help - 6x4 diesel gator won't start

Yes it was running before this happened. I used it over last weekend, paked it then came back 2 days later and it would not start. The glow plugs do not function (did last weekend) so I replaced the glow plug relay and the ignition switch.

Yep, air is good - cleaned filter.

there is a switch i really don't know what it's for but it could be causeing your problem. this wireing diagram might help.

The symptoms sound like a fuel problem--because the engine is cranking and there is no electrical ignition system to cause the problem.

I believe that all diesel engines have a fuel cut off that is relay operated--because that is how the engine is shut off--by closing the valve and starving the engine of fuel. If this relay fails to open no fuel will reach the engine and it will not start or run.

The literature that came with my Gator Diesel does not show the location of this relay but I think it may be located on the engine below the injector pump. It is difficult to see or work in this area without removing the bed.

By the sounds of it he's getting fuel though. He got fuel right before the injectors I think he said. But that's why I kept asking about it, really doesn't seem like it could be anything else since there's no spark plugs.

Compression alone is all a diesel uses.

then do a compression check to see if something might have blown? you might have got the answer darkday. the fuel is making it to the cylinders from what i read correct? it could be a blown head gasket or something .
