Backhoe HELP AGAIN !!! John Deere 3033r cab with 385A backhoe

Nice! Good to hear it all worked out for you! You even have the thumb on it! Let's see some side shots to see how far back it sits from the rear tires? Why does Deere not suggest these 385a backhoes for 3 series cab tractors?

That looks great, but it sure is close to the window! I'd worry about pressure on it when sitting in the seat.

It’s not to bad the seat is an aftermarket seat as the previous owner had replaced it so I don’t know what the official Deere seat would look like. It was $400+ for the Deere seat

Maybe the $400 seat is less than the rear window replacement?
Maybe the SMV sign removed would give more room, or even trimming off some of the plastic backing on the seat. For sure don't want to put pressure on that rear window and risk breaking it.

you can buy similar seats to the oem on ebay for around $100.00

I'm wondering when JD made it where you can leave the 3 point hitch arms on? With my 4320 all that has to come off to mount the hoe.

I’m guessing you’ve had some time to use the backhoe now. How’s it working out for you? I was considering purchasing a 385a for my 3046r cab and came across this thread.

From the driver's seat, with both rear wheels removed right side was very easy. The left side was more involved and hard to get into position. Leave yourself some time and don't rush. I was trying to use all of the parts from the small parts box which was confusing untill I realised I did not need most of them for my 2021 year tractor. I was making mine fit with 6 rear remotes installed and it all work out great. What actual year is your tractor?View attachment 837490

Where and how did you get this 6 spool multiplier? I also like how it sits under the window and very recessed. How was it mounted?

That is from Summit Hydraulics, you can get 2,3,4,5 or 6 way multiplier. I had to relocate the 3rd function electric spool valve way off to the right side to allow space to mount the multiplier upside down on the back of the cab. It is just through bolted with 2 bolts onto the back of the cab. There is a write on here from when I did it. If you have questions or need info let me know?
