Save some money for implements. You will need a 3rd function for a grapple plus the grapple itself, a landscape rake to rake all the surface roots and 'stuff' off, a disk harrow to prepare the soil, a spreader to spread lime, seed, and fertilizer, and a brush cutter. Nice stuff to add would be a soil pulverizer, a cultipacker, and a field plow like a Fred Cain to help break up the soil for the disk, a box blade or equivalent for your driveway, a bucket and pallet forks. I'm sure folks can add stuff this list to help you spend your money.

hydraulic reverser controller, a lot of people call it a power shuttle. I really like a shuttle, I grew it using a clutch. I do not use the foot throttle. I was always told to set the hand throttle and leave it alone. I use my brakes to help turn in some places.
Test drive a lot, think a lot, test more and buy. Good luck.

Not me, I use the foot throttle all the time with my shuttle.
I only use the hand throttle when mowing large open areas Etc. Other than that foot throttle for me, much more control doing loader work and mowing around trees and house, and easier on the clutch forward/reversing IMO.

Yep. I set my preset throttle switch to 2000 and have at it. Now if I’m doing loader work, Ill put throttle switch in the 1000 position and use foot throttle. On the road, I put the preset at 2000 and the throttle on full. One more click on the 2000rpm switch and I’m at full throttle to get max road speed.

Another vote for the CTL if you are doing land remediation.

The compact tractor is fine for mowing and “tractor tasks “ but it sucks for land leveling, contouring, building drainage, erosion control. Basically, dedicated construction equipment will run circles around a compact tractor if you are doing dirt work..

The other part is that, if you attempt the dirt work with a tractor, you will probably have to go up in frame size and power. Mowing a small plot can be handled easily by a smaller frame size like the Kioti ck 4010 or DK series. They are much more nimble than a larger tractor, which is overkill for mowing and maintenance.
