Help, dozer track pins frozen.

THis may sound like a dumb question, but how can you tell there frozen. I have never heard of this happening before. I have 2 machines with steel tracks a cat 6d and a 200lc john deere excavator. Tracs on ecx are sealed and the 6d has the old stlye. The cost of going to a track shop may not seem like much is your little dozer doesnt have a newer style master link.

I would think that just using it would free it up. It might squeek and moan for a little while, but then you can oil it. The dozer can make the track go all the way around can't it?
