Help Finding SnowBlower Parts (Walk Behind)

I need some help.

I have a 8 hp Bolens snowblower, 26" wide, the right angle gearbox that drives the augers bit the big one last night. We got 16" of snow yesterday.

The model number says 826, I tried looking on the MTD site but they don't list this model number. I purchased this blower back in the early 90's so it is at least 10 years old as it was used when I got it.

If anyone has any information on how to find some new parts to fix this please let me know.

You will have the best luck by finding a dealer who used to sell the Bolens brand. They should have the parts available yet.

Just a follow-up.

Bolens was bought out by Troy-Built who is no longer in business, they were purchased by MTD.

On the MTDProducts.com web site, I was able to put in my serial number and model for the blower and got a parts manual online.

Ordered the parts, coming UPS, should be here before the end of the week. Now hopefully I will not need it anymore this year as I have had enought with the last blast we got. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
