This is information I got from a previous thread.

L-39 Horn Location.

"The horn button is connected to two white electrical lines that come out of the wiring harness on the right hand side of the engine adjacent to the fuel injection pump kind of below the fuel tank. If you look over there on the wiring harness, you will see it. All you have to do is plug in a horn to those two outlets."

I could not locate this connection. However as shown in the attached .jpgs, there are 4 teminations. Just what are these?

I will later zip tie the harness to somewhere under the chassis to prevent chafing

How do I wire up horn button?

Help is appreciated!

I looked again for the wiring connection pigtail connection for the horn on my L-39. I must be blind, as I can't locate it.

Anyone help a blind man?

Messick Farm Equipment provided the attached, but I am still at a loss as to where on the tractor the connection point is located for the horn.

If someone can take a picture of the factory horn and where the connection lead runn off to and then post it, that would really help.

Thanks

I can't quite understand how I can be missing where to tie in the horn connection. It's not like the L-39 has a complicated harness, but I just have not bee able to locate where the horn connection is.

Can anyone help? I want to get the tractor all setup and lubricated for the spring thaw.

It was -16F so I hear up in the lakes region Tuesday night. Burrrr!

Our L-39 horn connector was on the wiring harness on the right hand side (sitting in the seat) down below the fuel tank right after the harness came out from under the dash-fuel tank, it is a white connector wrapped in black electrical tape.

It is beneath the fuel tank overhang , kinda down under the fuel filler inlet, before you get forward to the fuel pump, etc.

This seems to be the only connection that runs out of the harness at the location Skypump mentions but I cannot find out where the connection teminates. The Wiring from this connector seems to go the the cab's INTELLIPANEL

I was expecting a open plug connection. Anyone tell me what this plug is wired to?

My horn hookup was just adjacent to that, it is a simple open two-prong plastic plug that is hidden by electrical wrapping tape wound around the wiring harness.

Look for some black electrical tape on the harness near there and unwind it, the plug is hidden from exposure, and therefore view, by being wrapped up with electrical tape on the outside of the wiring harness.

You cannot see it unless you remove the tape covering it.

My wife says I can't find milk in the fridge. She is correct.

I'm not near my tractor, but do I have to plull off the plastic sleeve around the harness.
