OK, I understand now. Yes, there are times Kubota connectors give a little trouble and if the ball type male end doesn't work it sure looks like the end with the flat spot on it will work. When I have a problem I just swap the ball types around and a different one has always worked for me. I think the OP has something else going on if he is hardly any flow going through.
