My question is how do you relieve the hydraulic pressure on a disconnected backhoe.

My problem is that currently the backhoe is in almost a fully extended position with the control section pitched severely forward which makes it impossible to hook up the tractor.
Getting it back where the arm is in and the bucket fully retracted is where I need to be. I there a solution??????

I had a similar situation occur a little while ago where my detached Backhoe leaned over on one side which caused the sub frame to be lifted so high that I could not back over it to connect the Backhoe. I wound up fabricating two 6 foot hydraulic lines which serve as extensions from my rear remote so that I can maneuver my tractor beside the backhoe and use the tractor hydraulics to correctly position the backhoe in preparation for attaching to the tractor.

Don’t know if I fully appreciate your problem but have had similar experiences with my B26 backhoe.

To release pressure you can break any fitting and operate the valves. Things are going to move so be careful. Then might be able to adjust, jack or move enough to connect lines to tractor. Maybe ever so gently with FEL help. Did you block under it like the manual says?

Backhoe R&R was a learning curve for me. I finally built a special heavy timber pallet to support the backhoe in the right position when removing. Store on soft ground under a shed. I also connect the lines together instead of capping when storing. Wiggle all sticks to relieve all pressure before disconnecting, storing and reconnecting seems to help. Now removing and installing the 3pt arms is the hardest part.
