Well it is now December here in Minnesota and I am happy to report that even on 10 degree days my Ford 1720 is starting just fine with the new glowplugs. I did install a block heater however so far I have not used it although if it gets colder (and it will) I will plug it in for the sake of easing start up. I also installed a new fuel filter before winter and treated the diesel for winter operation. So far so good and she runs like a top. :thumbsup:

I replied many moons ago. You might just have a tractor that was run at low RPM and all it needs is to be run at high RPM to clean out all soot.
