glad to here you found a tractor!

ignore below.....
==========
*rubs chin*
bush hog and loader work....

--turn radius could be an issue. with and without using split rear brake pedals.

--size of tractor suggest a bat wing style rotary mower (lamen term bush hog), along with given option between 540 and/or 1,000RPM PTO, and dealing with raising/lowering the wing/s. GPM could be an issue higher the GPM faster the wings fold / unfold. along with option for rotatry mower for what speed you choose for PTO.

--actual visabilty around front of tractor to see FEL and what is in front of you. inch here, inch there for overall front hood design, and FEL arm design, and how close you seat to steering wheel and able to lean left/right to get a better idea of things, let alone standing up... might be an issue.

--servicing the radiator, hydraulic oil cooler, transmission oil cooler. as in actually being able to flip panels / hoods and get in easily to clean all the dust and like out of them. along with servicing the outer air filter. if ya going to be using rotary mower, you are bound to be kicking up a lot of dust / pollen / etc...

--seat adjustment, high/low enough for you, go backward/forward enough for you, tilts front to back some to seat you properly in it. while still operating controls. with arm rests that adjust up and down some, without interfering with the motion of going for changing gears, dealing with rear hydrualics, operating FEL.

--how wide are the actual tractors, once the rims / spacers are used that come with it? in order to obtain a wider stance, to deal with hills/ditches. and does the FEL bucket also cover the width of tractor.

--do each of the gauges and lights have there own "water/dust cover", or a single large glass/plastic covering it all, that is more likely to glare all the time?

--if you need it, does the tractor offer some sort of "backup lights and warning horn" i would imagine the larger tractors have it in the harness but.. *shrugs*

--does a tool box come with, or a spot to mount a couple toolboxes, to hold pins, plyers, some wire, etc... to deal with any hangups / quick emergency fixes to get you back to the shed, and/or just to toss some frozen water bottles in and let melt as you run it throughout the day? heck a spot to toss some handkerchiefs/snot rags, a place for them.

--is there easier option to either disconnect FEL to load up front weights or vice vs on the front. when rotary mowing?

--over all lifting capacity of both FEL and 3pt hitch. quick look at tractordata.com and there is any were from 500lbs to 1000lbs difference. dealing larger round wet bales, to gravel, to full buckets of dirt.

--is it easy enough to switch through gears on the fly, more specifically, running into a pile of something with FEL, and as you are backing up shifting up to higher gear, as you go were ever backwards, ((same speed forward/backwards)) vs the general slower speed going backwards.

--can you actually get out of tractor from both sides, without nailing a lever/shifter/joystick? some times only one side you can easily get in out, while other side, you are sucking in your get, and dare not to breath, as you attempt to slide out. while it might be fine here and there. in wood area / tight spaces in sheds, to clearing lots. and not much room to get out on the easier side....

--ply rating on tires, are they giving you low ply rating cheap tires to nock price down some how vs another?

--are they including any sort of trailer service or on sight coverage to deal with initial couple filter and oil changes?

--when do you NEED to use the CLUTCH, for changing gears to range selectors, to forward and reverse? clutch could be foot, to a button on a shifter / lever.

--does FEL offer some sort of regen or something, that allows to drop it faster, and/or to raise it up quicker?

--does FEL offer a bucket indicator rod? or something of the like. to help gauge if bucket is level with ground or not?

--is there a brace to actual place a triangle slow motion sign on rear of tractor, if you need one?

its all in the little details.

Well, I committed to the 7060HD12 today. He said it should be here +/- 3 weeks. Thoughts on loader 3rd function? I originally thought about a skid steer auger but I'm not sure if the tractor has enough hydraulic flow. I know most people get it for a grapple setup but I don't see myself using a grapple at this time.

pressure = force. as long as you are not producing more pressure than what "hydrualic auger" is rated for you are good.

higher GPM = faster RPM's of auger.

when do you actually spin a post hole digger / auger, at highest RPM's? myself tend to be at a slower RPM. so the auger is not beating itself inside the hole. granted 3pt hitch, and 2 man is all i have experience with. but it doubt it will change to being a front mount FEL to other.

Great tractor and excellent choice. Really nice unit. I would bite the bullet and get the 3rd function. I waited almost 8 months on mine and pared it with a grapple. I really like the set up. If you don't need a grapple then I certainly understand your reasoning. It is really convenient though to have them put it on when delivered. Think about how many rear remotes you want. Mine came with only one standard. I should have added the 2nd at the time of purchase. One thing you may want to look into is a set of pallet forks. I use mine all the time. I've never utilized a skid steer auger. Sure would be nice but like you I don't know if the tractor has enough flow.

Pictures are mandatory when you get it. Congratulations on a great choice.

Thanks for the great replies. I am adding a second remote, and am on the fence about a third? I have cast rear wheel centers, a 84" bucket and a set of pallet forks figured in the price. I'm back and forth on just going ahead with third function. In one sense it's $900 I could save if I don't use it, in the other, that's a whole lot of aggression to take the tractor back to dealer for install.
I really wish I could afford a larger bushhog now. Lol but I don't want to spread myself to thin, so I'll be using the 6fter I have for now.

I don't believe a third function would have enough flow to run an auger.I use my third to run a thumb on my bucket(real handy) and snow plow turning.
