ive found that when everything dies after turning key (lights, horn, etc) its always either grounding issues or a old battery. always.
i finally had to replace the battery on my 2010/2011 kioti DK45 this winter. before i turned key on, the lights , horn, etc very bright. as i turned key all it did was click and went dark.
i put in a new interstate battery and while i was at it i sanded down the entire grounding system at all terminations....just to be safe. no more issues.
i just love this tractor. so far any issues have been minor and all just maintenance issues except for one failed start solenoid and one fuel tank that some rodent gnawed thru.
