Plenty of use for a 2wd tractor. Hay work, pulling a harrow, almost any pto type job. Most that use batwings to mow fields do it with a lg 2wg tractor since they can avoid the rough stuff due to the overlap of the mower. 4wd is needed for rough country work, stuff with a loader and mud or any lack of traction. Some jobs are easier with more traction, but can still be done. A large tire utility tractor with agg. tires has a lot more traction than you might think.
