Hey guys, i'm from Long Island,NY and have been on a tractor hunt for the past few weeks.
My research has lead me to the Kubota brand.
Recently went to a local dealer and looked at the new shiny machines and tested one out a little.
I've got a 400x20 driveway and 1 acre, i want it to move snow in the winter & do some general landscaping , limited 'farming'.
My search is spanning several states in hopes of finding that perfect tractor deal.
I'm looking for some help on 'finding a good deal' , Since kubota has to change their model numbers every few years it makes it a little harder to decipher the differences in functionality and value.
At the moment here is some im considering
01 B2710hst WITH LA402 w/645 hours for $9,000
08 B7510hst LA-302 loader w 280 hours for $10,500
01 B2410 HST la-352 loader, 60"MMM,basic scraper blade, 420 hours for 10,000
What do you think of these numbers? what would you lean toward and why?
Edit: Quick update on the B2410, 2nd owner said he bought with 300hrs for 13,500 2 years ago.
Does it seem like he over paid? I'm hoping he would take 9.
Also what kind of value does the 60" MMM have if i were to try and sell it once i buy the whole machine?
(i need something to tell my wife to make it seem like im not really about to spend 9 grand, lol)
