Help me with a Deer Condo

Did you build the building from scratch or is it a portable building you placed on top of the deck?

it is a angle iron shipping crate covered with sheet metal that my brother gave me. he works tool and die and they ordered a new cnc machine that came in this shipping container. i only used the four walls, pre-assembled it in my garage.painted itand put in the windows. then took it apart, hauled it out to the deck and assembled it. pre-fab the roof trusses also. so that it was ready to assemble in a weekend and under roof. i will submit the pics as soon as i can find them.

here are some pics of the deck and when we hauled the walls out. sorry i didn't take any pics of the building in process while we worked on it in the garage.

unloading walls and assembling. silicone was use on floor and all corner joints when walls were bolted together. front wall was the heaviest because of the four windows.

Seeing these threads and working on my friends play room tower he built for his kids today has got me itching to build another

more pics just before roof was sheeted and after roof was done. also trying to get the stuff that needed painted before winter. this was in october and hunting season started monday after thanksgiving. we still had the inside to finish.

first pic with the wood stove in. i place a sheet of steel on the floor under the stove just for fire reasons. don't want to burn the floor. second pic i was boxing in rafters around stove pipe for the heat sheild. third pic we were installing the insulation using liquid nails to hold it to the sheetmetal. the larger area behind the stove i used fiberglass insulation without paper and cover that area of wall with the sheetmetal that was leftover from the roof of the shipping crate. i think with the wood stove being so close to the wall in this area that the styrofoam would melt in the wall. last pic is of my helpers, my dad and my son.

this is the first project i've ever posted. only reason i had the time to do it is because i just had hernea surgery done. going nuts seating around not being able to do anything.
