Cub Cadet LT1042
I've got a cub cadet LT1042 series 1000, & it's got atleast 60hrs. on it. Was mowing and the back wheels just seemed to lock up. -now, this has happen before, & I moved that engage/disengage rod on the back & this time it doesn't work for me. The lever that-that rod moves back n forth, is there suppose to be a spring on the top of it, there's a hole there, to hold it back?, cuz I can pull back on it and turn the wheels.

Does anyone kinda know what I'm talkin' about...

You are talking about that lever by the right rear wheel? You pull back and down to lock it and it allows the rear tires to free-wheel? Not sure why your rear wheels are locking up while you are mowing. Still under warranty? Try the sister board lawnmowerforum.com may get more answers there.

Check your brake. If you look by the transmission by the right wheel there is an external brake set up that sometimes gets sticky. That would be the first place I would look.
