Welcome to the forum and all the frustrations of shopping for the right machine. Sounds like you have a couple of nice places to use a tractor. My experience says that the first thing to do is hire a dozer to clear the Va. land of stumps and dig the pond. A compact tractor is just not the right equipment for that much clearing and building a pond really requires heavy equipment and an experienced operator to develop a pond that will not be a problem. There will still be plenty to do with the tractor after the dozer takes care of the heavy stuff.
For most of the rest of your project list I do similar things with a 21hp tractor loader backhoe (TLB) but would recommend you look for something in the 30 PTO horsepower range so you can use a larger brush mower.
Don’t underestimate what it is going to take to tow the 600 miles to the NY property. I tow my little TLB and trailer combination, about 7000lbs, with a ¾ ton van and though it is well within the rated limits of the van it is a real work out. I am not sure I would be enthusiastic about making a 600 mile trip even with a small tractor.
Good luck with the search and let us know what the out come is.
