help need a KEY code for 98se disk for my

I got a code from an online person, it worked well and the machine is running but I have to re-install all the programs or most of them, I don't think I'll put on nearly as many as I had before as it is simply too old to worry much about. I will be using it to do a little PLC programming and rest just surfing & emailing/test/word stuff. nothing fancy. maybe have to re-install my old cad program, all the files are OK jut the program ops are bad... I keep my Hard Drives partitioned in several different drives that way I can keep the data separate from the programs in just such a case...

Consider making your old windows 98 install into a virtual system.
You load the free vmware or other virtualization product on a newer more up to date system.
Then backup the old system with one of the many available programs that can do it. Many are free.
Do some homework about how to install from this 'backup' into a virtual machine. Look for P2V in google. Stands for Physical to Virtual.
Install, and then enjoy running your old system inside the new one..

I run an old 98 laptop from 'inside' my newer Sony. The image is also backed up to a DVD so I can move it any time I want to if needed...

that sounds good, I'm looking at a new toshiba laptop now. last company owes my some $ and are going to give me new laptop for owed$.

I tried the new HP ones, seemed clunky as well as didn't seem to run all that well. crashed on a lot of different running items.

What brands do you program ?

I work on
logix 5,& 500,and some control logix, omron C1000 to current, TI, siemens s7 reluctanly

so far I've used about 10 different brands on no so regular basis. AB being the most popular. but I like the "omron ZEN" bricks as well as the ones from "factorymation" & "automation direct." In the AB stuff I've done every thing from old SLC100s to 5000 series stuff all works great except AB drivers are worst of the lot & PC to PLC connection/programming is worst with them but are the most popular...
