The JD 790 and 990 are a good value. Because these tractors are rather light, make sure to get 4wd if you plan on doing a lot of loader work in my opinion. Kubota and Mahindra also have some solid tractors in the 30-40 hp range. My experiences are with the JD. Also, I dont know how experienced you are or if you really want something new but in my area a lot of folks use old fords, like the 8N and NAA. They are old tractors but very good and simple. I have a 5103 JD, which in my opinion is a little big for 10 acres. Definitely something from 25-40 hp would fit great.
