So I have resorted to researching this for myself after numerous dealers couldn't help us. We purchased an L2350 (1997) and a Danuser F7 auger with down pressure attachment a couple weeks ago with the thought that we could have a set of rear hydraulics installed. Well, turns out getting rear hydraulics on this model tractor is a lot harder than we thought, and without down pressure on the auger we don't stand a chance in the rocky Missouri soil. Anyone have any suggestions, or perhaps a parts list we can piece together to get this figured out??

Welcome to TBN:D

Do you have a loader now? If so then you can use the PB (power beyond-sometimes labeled BYD) port on the valve to feed another valve mounted to the rear. The cheapest way would be to just run long hoses from the dump/curl circuit (after disconnecting the lines that feed the loader) and use you joystick to operate the downpressure cylinder.

If you search terms like these here in the Hydraulics forum you can read LOTS of threads:

remote
power beyond
L2350

I do have the front loader. Would I be able to use the bucket and down pressure at the same time or is that a switch for one or the other?

you could unplug the bucket curl lines and plug in the hydraulic post hole digger. the bucket up and down would still work.

if your existing bucket control valves have an additional port available for power beyond (it should be labeled and have a cap in place) you can add an additional valve for rear remotes.

I got it figured out. We had a switch installed that when flipped one way the up/down motion on the boom works along with the bucket movements, and flipped the other way the down pressure cylinder works along with the bucket movements. So its either the boom works or the cylinder works, and its awesome really. Real simple. The guys at S&H Farm Supply here in Rogersville, MO did a great job
